Vs. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.
Here it is fully established, the pre-incarnate existence of Christ who is one with the Father and co-creator of the universe and who was born into the world as a human being inbued with the divine spirit of God, He is Jesus of Nazereth, (Yeshua) whose coming was foretold of old. I want to establish that as foundational to further commentary as opposed to the idea that He is a god or merely a great prophet, take note that I speak of Him in the present tense because He is, was and always will be.
